QUASI-STATIONARY THERMO ELASTIC PROBLEM WITH MOVING HEAT SOURCE IN UNIDIRECTIONAL NEUMANN’S ROD By D.T. Solanke and M.H. Durge

Abstract

In this paper authors considered quasi-stationary, non-homogeneous thermo elastic problem with Neumann’s boundary condition in unidimensional rod of isotropic material occupying the region . Initial temperature of the rod is zero and placed in an ambient temperature zero. The rod is subjected to the activity of moving point heat source located at moving with constant velocity along x-axis.
