A  STUDY ON THE TRAINING NEEDS OF EMPLOYEES IN FLOW TECH POWER LIMITED, COIMBATORE By P.Annalakshmi[1] and Dr.K.Ravichandran[2]

Abstract

In this paper the researcher has intended to study about the training needs of an employee in a selected firm. the objectives of the study is(i) To study the business profile to Flow Tech Power Limited Coimbatore.(ii) To study the perception of employees on the training offered by the company.(iii) To suggest suitable measures to strengthen their training programme. In this study the researcher adopted descriptive method. Descriptive research is used to obtain information concerning the current status of the phenomena to describe what exists with respect to variable or conditions in a situation.  The researcher has adopted a convenience sampling method for this study. A sample of 50 respondents was surveyed using a standard questionnaire. Simple Percentage was used to analyze and interpret the data. The findings of the study were, (i) The employees felt that their job give immense pleasure to them.(ii) The employees felt that the training programme provided in the premises of flow tech power is effective and is able to meet the expectation of the organization.(iii)The employees are highly satisfied with the training environment and the statutory measures provided during the training programme.(iv) The employees are highly motivated and overall effectiveness of the training programme is highly effective.
